There are some doctors who practise medicine, and then there are doctors who truly sit with you, listen deeply, and care in a way that feels both thoughtful and personal. Dr Evelyn Lewin is exactly that kind of GP.
We are so genuinely delighted to welcome Evelyn to our Next Practice Prahran family.
Dr Evelyn studied medicine at Monash University, graduating with honours in 2004, and went on to complete further training at Monash Medical Centre, where she loved working across emergency, paediatrics and aged care. She later completed a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology before specialising as a General Practitioner.
She enjoys all areas of General Practice and brings particular care and depth to
• Mental health assessment, including adult ADHD assessment and management in collaboration with a treating psychiatrist
• Paediatrics and adolescent health
• Women’s health and menopause care• Prenatal counselling and postnatal support
• Preventative medicine
Evelyn is warm, approachable and deeply compassionate. She takes the time to truly understand each person who walks through her door, working alongside them to support their health in a way that feels safe and collaborative.
And when she is not caring for patients, you will likely find her curled up on the couch with her dog, a good book in hand and a cup of coffee nearby which honestly feels very on brand 🤎We feel incredibly grateful to have her join our team and are excited for our community to meet her.
