Happy International Nurses Day to the people who somehow keep the clinic running smoothly while doing about 500 things at once 💚
We are so grateful for our beautiful nurses Kiki, Amelia and Sheri. Today in the clinic for International Nurses Day we have Kiki, one of our incredible nurses who has been part of Next Practice Prahran since before the doors even opened.
From day #1, Kiki has played a huge role in shaping our clinic into the warm and supportive space it is today.
Kiki supports our patients across so many areas of care including:
• chronic disease care planning
• childhood and adult immunisations
• travel vaccinations• wound care management
• iron infusions• keeping her finger on the pulse of public health notifications
• supporting our doctors with procedures including skin biopsies and IUD insertions ++
When asked what inspired her to become a primary care nurse, Kiki shared:
“my decision to enter the field was driven by my belief in the importance of building long term relationships with patients and providing continuity of care. I find fulfillment in serving as a primary point of contact for patients seeking medical advice and support.”
