Guess Who? Getting to know your medical team a little differently

At Next Practice Prahran, you usually meet us in the consult room, often focused on what is going on for you and your health.

But behind the scenes, our team is made up of people with some pretty unexpected stories, hobbies, and quirks.

We recently played a team game of Guess Who, where each person submitted a random fact about themselves, and the challenge was to match each fact to the right person. Safe to say, it was harder than expected, even for those of us who work together every day.

Here are a few of the facts from our team:

  • “I did my uni research in biological weaponry”
  • “I love a good dramatised audio book”
  • “I love hunting foxes and rabbits, and have my hunting gun licence”
  • “I used to bboy in highschool”
  • “I only eat fruits if it blended in a smoothie”
  • “Every time I go to the Prahran Market, I make sure to try something new”
  • “I was a dancer in the Disney Land parade in California”
  • “I used to be a spin instuctor”
  • “I did ballet as a child”
  • “I enjoy building lego in my free time”
  • “I do adult ballet classes”
  • “I was choir captain in primary school”
  • “I’m a doctor, but my partner still fact checks everything I say with Google”
  • “I come from a big family of rugby players, and my great uncle played for the All Blacks”
  • “When I was a kid I wrote my own coded language, and I can still write in it or decipher it if needed”
  • “I fell off the one story balcony of my house two times when I was a child”
  • “I can understand 5 languages, and speak 3 fluently”
  • “When I was 20, I tried to join the military and was medically rejected at the very last stage”

If you would like to have a guess and see how many you can match correctly, head over to our Instagram where we have shared the full post with answers.

It is a small reminder that your care team is just that, a team of real people, each bringing their own experiences into the way they look after you. 🤍
