Dr Edna Correal Granados

Dr Edna Correal is a compassionate and dedicated GP with further studies in Lifestyle Medicine, committed to supporting patients to achieve sustainable health outcomes through proactive, personalised care.

She completed her undergraduate medical degree at the Universidad del Cauca in Colombia before relocating to Australia, where she completed her specialty training across Melbourne and regional Victoria, attaining Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

Dr Edna provides comprehensive care with a focus on chronic disease prevention, behavioural health, family medicine, stress management, and cancer survivorship. Incorporating evidence-based modalities such as Motivational Interviewing, Positive Psychology, and Culinary Medicine, she works collaboratively with patients to implement practical, multi-pillar lifestyle changes across nutrition, exercise, sleep, and stress.

In addition to her clinical practice, Edna is a workshop facilitator and leads the Melbourne chapter of Walk With A Doc, promoting physical activity and health literacy within the local community. She speaks English and Spanish fluently, along with elementary French and Portuguese.

Outside of work, Edna enjoys traveling, reading, walking, and spending time in nature.
